Cost vs. Paid Alternative

The Challenge

LexBridge, an early-stage contract review platform, was being out-cited by four incumbents in AI-generated answers for "best contract review software" and adjacent queries. With a smaller marketing budget than competitors, they needed an asymmetric approach that did not rely on brute-force content volume or paid media.

Their product had real differentiation in jurisdiction-aware clause analysis, but nothing in their public footprint reflected that. AI models had no structured way to learn what made LexBridge different.

Our Approach

We focused on building LexBridge as a distinct, well-described entity in the AI knowledge graph:

  • Rewrote product and solution pages around jobs-to-be-done that mapped to specific buyer prompts.
  • Published a jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction resource library that became the most linked-to source for state-specific contract clause questions.
  • Partnered with legal bloggers and law school clinics for bylined content on structured review workflows.
  • Added detailed SoftwareApplication and FAQPage schema so models could parse features, pricing tier, and use cases directly.
Results

LexBridge is now cited by name in 34 of the 50 highest-volume contract review prompts we track, up from 4 at the start of the engagement. They are the single most frequently cited vendor in Perplexity answers for jurisdiction-specific clause questions — a moat the incumbents have not closed six months later.
